The 14-Lane Road: Highway 35 Drive 🇹🇭 Thailand with Relaxing Music

This is Highway 35 (Thai: ทางหลวงแผ่นดินหมายเลข 35) in Thailand. We are driving Highway 35 towards Bangkok with relaxing chill-out music all the way. I’ll tell you a bit about the highway at the start of the video. Lean back, relax and enjoy the ride. As you can see, there is a lot of construction. We’ll get to that soon. Highway 35 is also known as Rama II Road (Thai: ถนนพระรามที่ 2). The road goes roughly between Samut Songkhram and Bangkok. When it’s not under construction, there are 10 lanes, 5 in each direction. A 4-lane elevated highway is being built above the existing 10 lanes. You will see the construction all the way towards Bangkok. Hopefully, 14 lanes are enough. As with many large construction projects, it’s delayed. Parts of the elevated highway are expected to be completed by 2026. Do you plan to rent a car in Thailand? Highway 35 is fairly easy to ride.
