Learn more at http://guardonix.com/ Guardonix is a combination of hardware and software built to block write commands and allow unstable USB storage devices to be successfully imaged with Windows-based software tools. If a storage device is working in an imperfect manner due to bad sectors or other read instability issues then it may occasionally run into an exception, causing Windows to drop the drive, hang, or otherwise interrupt the data acquisition process. Guardonix stops this from happening, allowing the drive to be imaged.
