Why fill out a logbook? Are logbooks required in ham radio? What do I put for time in a logbook? Why do ham radio operators use UTC? These are all questions that I considered when being asked "How do I fill out a ham radio logbook". I have made a video presenting the information in a way I believe to be fun and engaging while learning: The first half of this video goes over reasons why to fill out a log, different types of logs, and other information. The second half goes over How to fill out the log. If you don't care about the why, skip about halfway through the video. A suggestion I may have overlooked is to always write your zeros with a line through them, diagonally, so you may tell apart 0's and O's. I have bad handwriting and when trying to write small, it gets worse, this little tip really helps me distinguish a zero from an O.
