Sidney Williams shares behind the scenes insights about how Mid-Century architecture and design inspired the life and culture of Palm Springs at The Forum’s Modernism Symposium. Williams brings her first-hand experience as a leading authority on the architecture and design of that city, including the architects who designed it, and the celebrities who made it famous. Daughter-in-law of esteemed Modernist architect E. Stewart Williams who designed the famed Twin Palms residence for Frank Sinatra, Ms. Williams’ presentation at the Symposium gave attendees insights into modern architecture, design and life in Palm Springs. Sidney Williams is Curator Emeritus of Architecture and Design of the Palm Springs Art Museum, and is widely admired for combining scholarship and human interest when discussing the Golden Age of Palm Springs Modernism.
