This capsule debunks the myth that immigration poses a threat to secularism in Quebec. By revisiting the current debate surrounding Bill 94, which follows on from Law 21, it highlights the fundamental difference between state secularism and proselytism. Through critical analysis, it also addresses concepts such as feminationalism and shows how the misappropriation of secularism undermines women's rights, particularly those of Muslim and immigrant women.
