Vis houses some amazing beaches - both pebbly and sandy! It is also home to some of the most beautiful towns on the Adriatic. The town of Vis on the northeastern coast and Komiža, on the west coast are the two best attractions on the island. The town of Vis has an intricate mix of Greek, Roman and Baroque Austrian architectures and villas and churches dating from the 16th and 17th centuries. On the other hand, Komiža is a fishing village with stone houses and brightly-painted fishing boats!
