Band lineup: Teddy Royal - Guitarist / Band leader Richard Budesa - Bass Anthony Day - Organ Guitar great Teddy Royal has worked with numerous notable musicians, including Hank Crawford, Allen Toussaint, Koko Taylor, Lou Rawls and Patti Labelle. But he is perhaps best known for his 30-year run as lead guitarist for New Orleans’ legendary Fats Domino. Mr. Royal is also a composer and distinguished bandleader, with several albums to his own name. For this encore concert he brings an organ trio that is sure to delight. — Presented in partnership with the Jazz Foundation of America, supported in part by an award from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, and by the Howard Gilman Foundation. — The Jazz Foundation of America is a national nonprofit dedicated to helping the jazz, blues, and roots musicians who have played the soundtrack to our lives.
