In Saudi Arabia, a local viewer of mine has not only discovered a new 2.2 mile wide impact crater but he has also performed field and lab work to prove it! At what he is naming "Al Hawi Crater", he found clear cut evidence of shocked quartz along with what appears to be the impact breccia known as suevite, and a secondary breccia type known as monomict breccia. This video will discuss this brand new find, which was made by Abdulrahman Toonsi in Saudi Arabia. This crater's discovery, and non Google Earth images which do not have attribution were graciously provided by A. Toonsi, who I also interviewed for today's video.
