kirkjufell is located on the snaefellsnes peninsula of Iceland and unlike the westfjords you can drive there in a smaller car without having to worry about bumps and scratches! Across some of my videos in the westfjord series I mentioned 'Off-road' as a many of the roads leading to our destinations were bumpy and in some cases unsafe. This was an honest mistake as off-roading in Iceland is not allowed and what we actually travelled on was a very rough gravel road.
