Just by testing, I've found an exploit that allows you to continue your progress throughout long chapters that seems almost impossible to perfect under these early access ranking requirements. Perhaps they will be toned down at some point during the development. Who knows! ======================================== PLEASE NOTE: Prologue, Chapter 3, 4 and 5 were done normally. Chapter 1 and 2 were done in segments. ======================================== What i mean by "normally" is playing the chapter from start to finish in one session. in "segments" means relying on checkpoints at the start of each battle to get the best outcome possible! Don't think this makes it's free though... It's still insanely difficult to avoid getting hit in all fights. In such a random mess, i've decided to get out with as minimum damage as possible since i had no idea how much damage i should avoid until my rank drops to SS instead of SSS. Even if the number shown at the end tells you that over 100 damage equals SS for example i still had no idea if that amount of damage has been reached or not. Besides, some checkpoints and spirit release also recover your life so it gets even more confusing of how much health you've lost. "Just basically don't get hit" won't work with these types of enemies -_-' In my opinion, the time and the damage requirement should be more forgiving for chapters 1 and 2 since they are full of hordes of mobs that feels endless and some of them even hit you for 40% damage in one shot. Waves after waves after waves and all are as cheap as it could get. This exploit makes it similar to games like Bayonetta and Metal Gear Rising where you could quit to title screen and restart checkpoint in order to get a better rank for each section. I honestly wish this game also did that or, you could lower the amount of enemies and lower the damage and time requirements and make it an average of what most "decent" gamers can get. Because these requirements seem to be impossible while trying to play like this! Perhaps just relying on dodging and the basic 5 punch combo to kill everyone as quick as possible since the last hit deals the most damage would be an option? But why would you make the time requirement as tight as possible? :| Consider this an early access test play for free... pfft for free... i even paid for the game so i bought it and worked as a game tester for free lol... i've done so many tests just to see if these SSS ranks are actually possible. So that the next generation will get them with less effort XD It may seem that i was a bit harsh on this game but those who knew me for a long time know that i usually say that in my text commentary about any game! Just for fun. (English is not even my first language) I don't even talk like that in reality! 😂 In all honesty this game can be incredibly fun sometimes. The only thing i dislike about it is the enemies' behavior. I really like how aggressive they are, but at least give them a set attack distance that we can measure and try to avoid! Give me signs or sound cues to allow me to react in time. As for bosses, it's not obvious what you are supposed to dodge or guard sometimes. Their attacks are insanely hectic and makes no sense. It's like they hit you with the wave of the attack not the attack itself. Other than that, I really love hand to hand combat and i wish there were more games like this BUT more polished and balanced of course. Props to the guy who made it though. It's not easy to do as much as he did when you are working by yourself. He doesn't have to listen to me or anyone else, go ahead and make the game you want to make.
