Run Like A Kid Sprint 6 Levels Progress

Run Like A Kid is an open-world game where the player character is a flower child who lives within the confines of her home village. One day, she decides to venture out to explore the garden outside, when suddenly a bird swoops down to grab her, mistaking her for a shiny trinket. When the bird realizes, the flower child ends up dropped into an open window of the greenhouse across the garden, and a long way from home. Run like a kid to get back home! In this video, we showcase the progress of our level design and blockouts. There are eight levels in our game: the front garden, greenhouse, treehouse, attic, hallway, living room, kitchen, and back garden. We utilize standard gameplay mechanics, such as keyboard user control, jump, and double jump, as well as a teleport and spawn mechanic. The level design I worked on can be viewed between 03:14 to 04:16.
