Helped a friend obtain a dismissal from Midland funding by simply responding timely to their complaint and summons and requesting discovery and challenging jurisdiction. Plaintiff's attorney got caught trying to proceed with a case without her client and without any evidence of a loan and when called out by my friend got scared and moved to dismiss. Dismissal is in another attorney's name from her office. Defective affidavits, hearsay as evidence and no stated damages are just a few elements that rob the court of subject matter jurisdiction.
