For 10-12 people Preparation: 20 minutes Cooking: 25 minutes 32 desserts were obtained Ingredients 125 gr butter or margarine Half a tea glass of oil (60 ml) 1 egg yolk 2 tablespoons of yogurt 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar 1 packet of baking powder 1 packet of vanilla 3 tablespoons of semolina 2.5 cups of flour 1 cup of roasted shredded wheat 1 cup of walnuts For the syrup; 2 cups of sugar 2 cups of water (400 ml) 2 tablespoons of molasses To coat; 1 egg white Roasted shredded wheat Preparation First, put 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of water in a pot for the syrup. Stir and boil for 10 minutes. Turn off the stove and wait for the syrup to cool down until it reaches a temperature that will not burn your hands. Then add 2 tablespoons of molasses and mix. For the dough, put 125 grams of butter or margarine in a kneading bowl. Add half a tea glass of oil, 1 egg yolk, 2 tablespoons of yogurt, 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar, 1 package of baking powder, 1 package of vanilla, and 3 tablespoons of semolina. Finally, add some of the 2.5 cups of flour and mix it with a spatula first. Then add the remaining flour slowly and continue kneading the dough with your hands. Add 1 cup of walnuts and 1 cup of roasted shredded wheat to the dough we gathered and continue kneading. Break off pieces from the dough and roll them into finger-shaped balls. First dip our shaped desserts in egg white, then coat them nicely in roasted shredded wheat. Let's arrange the desserts on a baking tray with some space between them. After shaping all the dough, let's leave it to bake in the oven that we have heated to 180 degrees for 25 minutes. Let's take our desserts that are nicely browned from the oven and arrange them on a deeper tray to soak in the syrup. Let's pour the cooled syrup over the hot dessert. Our desserts that have soaked up the syrup after resting for a few hours are ready to serve. You can serve by decorating them with pistachios. Enjoy!
