Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc into ring, *ch 2, 3 dc into ring; repeat from * 2 more times. Dc into top of beg ch-3 to finish round in center of corner space. Do not fasten off. (4 3-dc group, 4 ch-2 corners) Round 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), 4 dc in same sp (first half of petal made). *Sc in 2nd dc of next 3-dc group, 9 dc in next ch-2 sp; repeat from * 3 more times. End with 4 dc in starting corner to complete first petal (9 dc total). Join with sl st to top of beg ch-3, or use seamless join. Fasten off. (4 × 9-dc petals, 4 sc) Round 3: With new color, work a standing sc in the 5th dc of any petal (first corner st made). Sc in each of next 3 sts.
