Ganpatipule is an ancient temple of Lord Ganesh in Konkan region of Maharashtra. We spent one full day at Ganpatipule, following are th activities we did during the day and towards the end of the day we moved towards Ratnagiri city. This was our 8th day of our konkan tour, This was video was shot on 24th September MTDC RESORT GANPATIPULE - RS 1600 for double occupancy, It goes from Rs 5000 to Rs 7000. It is advisable to prebook the hotel if you are coming over the Weekend. The location of the resort is really good. We visited another property of MTDC - Dormitory - Rs 3300 weekend - Rs 5300 We had Breakfast at Tavish Restaurant - Poha & Upma while seeing the view of the beach. After breakfast, we went to see the Bamboo hut room, which cost Rs 3100 for weekdays & Weekends - RS 4000. Their manager told me, in the coming day they will start the boat club which will have multiple water sports activities. After that, we proceeded to the main attraction of Ganpatipule - Shri Ganpati Temple, which was built 400 yrs ago. This temple is located right beside the shore of the beach. We had darshan of Lord Ganesha in form of Shila which is self-manifested in the temple. Just about 1 km from the Ganpatipule temple, we visited the Prachin Konkan, there we saw varieties of trees & Ayurvedic Plants. In prachin konkan you will get to see life of Konkan people & their culture in form of statues. Guided tour ticket price- Rs 40 per person. There is also a shop in the complex, which has so many wooden toys & memento, which you can buy. We had lunch in the same complex. After lunch we also visited the museum - varieties of Shank, Sea Shells & Pearls, you can even buy them. Overall it was a good experience to visit Pranchin Konkan. Then we visited the Aare Ware Beach in Ratnagiri District, we saw sea shells on the beach We stayed at Seafan Ratnagiri premium category room - Rs 5000 double occupancy including breakfast.
