Just completed an unforgettable hike to Mt. Jade (Yushan), the highest peak in Taiwan at 3,952 MASL (meters above sea level)! Flew from Manila to Taipei (around 2 hours), then made our way to the trailhead, ready for the journey ahead. I was lucky to share this adventure with amazing people,everyone brought such good energy and laughs along the way. Our first stop was Dungpu Lodge (Dongpu Lodge), located near the Tataka Trailhead at around 2,600 MASL. It’s the staging point before the official start of the hike. After a rest and gear check, we hiked through beautiful forests and alpine scenery. Spent the night at Paiyun Lodge, around 3,400 MASL. The views here were breathtaking, with sea of clouds in the morning and crisp mountain air all around. The trail was tough but worth every step! An amazing experience—Mt.
