In emotional scenes, brothers Alistair and Jonathan Brownlee took gold and silver in August in the men's triathlon in Rio de Janeiro As Yorkshire's Olympic and Paralympic athletes are welcomed home from Rio on an open top bus procession through the streets of Leeds, Ian McMillan reads aloud his own specially commissioned poem to mark that historic event. Ian's poem, The Sun Shines Gold, recreates the excitement and joy at the finishing line of the triathlon - and the pride felt back home in the UK - as "the sun shines gold in a Yorkshire sky."
