We’re back on the road after the offseason and kicking off our first storm chase of the 2026 season! After weeks of prepping and upgrading our equipment, Team Midwestern Storm Trackers is ready to get back into the field. This chase is all about putting our new Tarzan tornado probe hardware to the test. If everything lines up and it’s safe to do so, we’ll attempt to place the probe inside a tornado to collect valuable storm data from the ground level. 🎯 Today’s Plan: • Track developing severe storms • Field-test the updated Tarzan probe hardware • Capture live video and photos from the chase • Collect research data when conditions allow 👀 What You’ll See: • Live radar and storm updates • Real-time analysis and commentary • On-the-road audio from the chase vehicle • Potential tornado intercept if conditions line up Thanks for tuning in and riding along with us.
