After last week’s budget rig challenge, how about the no-holds-barred dream rig? The sky is the limit for the one guitar, one amp and three pedals on a board that we could realistically source. If last week’s budget rig challenge didn’t upset enough people (bizarrely it did), let’s remove the budget and ask what Dan and I would put together with the gear we have available to us. We stopped a long way short of borrowing £500,000 ’59 Les Pauls and £100,000 Dumbles… Maybe that’s for another day. Nope, this one has a toe still on planet Earth, being the kind of gear we actually take out and gig. Yes, it’s ridiculous, ostentatious and potentially offensive to some people.
