LAST DAY in Pakistan | DIY Trip to Wagah Border without Paid Tour

We had to check out one last thing in our itinerary list - to visit the Wagah Border and join in the flag retreat ceremony. Lots of high kicks, loud music over two speakers on both India and Pakistan side and the HIGHEST ENERGY ever from a border parade. How did we do it without an expensive paid tour? SOME USEFUL TIPS: Agreed with our inDrive bhai to take us to the border and return to Goldcrest Mall (where our airbnb was). The parade is free to all, you have to go through a rigorous checkpoint where the security would take your passports and then we returned it, walk another 20 minutes to the gate and into another checkpoint before you enter the Pakistan side of the seated 'stadium'. The whole ceremony is about 45 minutes long.
