Tet happens and the government reassesses the war. Tet is viewed as a strategic loss in Washington. '65 to '69 the US loses 30,000 troops Washington refuses to send anymore as the idea is the war is unwinnable. Westmoreland is relieved and promoted to Chief of Staff.
