While Dark souls 2 received heavy criticism on the basis of it being more of an experimental game, Miyazaki would see his way back into the directory role to its concluding roots. And while many people are very fond of Dark Souls 3, it definitely caught some backlash as well. Some felt the game to be a bit too safe, too linear in how it progresses, lackluster in its main hub, and having a few too many gimmicky bosses. For my 3rd playthrough of this game, I was really looking for something to change things up, and after discovering and playing Cinders, I couldn’t have been more satisfied. What is Cinders you might ask? Created and developed by these people, Cinders is essentially a total overhaul of the entire game, Some of these changes include the game's progression being less linear, new bosses, new classes and gifts, new game modes...the list goes on and on.
