Incoming mayor of Manila Dr. Honey Lacuna told The Chiefs that her father, former vice mayor Danny Lacuna, may not be fully aware anymore that their family finally clinched the mayoral post of the nation’s capital city. Dr. Lacuna revealed the health condition of his father, after images taken during the proclamation in Manila showed an emotional interaction between father and daughter. The elder Lacuna was wheelchair-bound after a heart attack in 2016. The Lacunas are among Manila’s political families, with naysayers saying that the family is only good at being vice mayors.
