This is a new and improved version of my old video which I've unlisted for now since a lot of questions came up around specific details, and there were some mistakes I made in the voiceover. Not to mention I didn't have a case for it back then! Anyway, I wanted a way to play N64 games on my Switch using an original N64 controller. As a Bonus: It works on PC too (Steam picked it up no problem)! The firmware also works with GameCube Controllers (you'll need a GameCube controller port instead of the N64 one), and if you've got a Pi Pico W you can even connect via Bluetooth! Note: I pre-flashed the Pico with the v3 firmware, so if you're following along, make sure to do the same! ====================== Contents 0:00 - Intro + Materials 0:35 - Retro Pico Switch V3 release vs v4 0:54 - Wiring the connector 1:50 - Wiring the resistor 2:34 - Wiring the Pico 2:52 - Finishing touches 3:25 - Gamepad tester 3:44 - Testing on Mega Man Battle Network ====================== ====================== Links Code from Github (Thanks David!): https://github.com/DavidPagels/retro-...
