Only one question remains: can China’s economy keep up with its military might? … While the PLA led by General Tao wages war on both the USA and the GLA, other scheming generals within the PLA have taken the opportunity to initiate a power struggle in an attempt to seize control over the military, and from there on the country. Deep in the Yunnan countryside, the rogue PLAGF general Kwai has launched an uprising against the new PLA-led Chinese government. Despite a well-deserved reputation as a tank general and being a fervent disciple of Cold War Soviet tank tactics, Kwai is actually an expert at combined arms warfare (and probably the best one among all 7 challenge generals if we apply real world combined arms tactics) as he utilises infantry and close air support aircraft just as much as his beloved tanks (as such, Kwai's tactics resemble WW2 German manoeuvre warfare doctrine more than Cold War Soviet tank tactics as stated in the C&C wiki). To secure his power within the PLA and China's leadership, Tao swings his nuclear forces from Europe back to his motherland to stop Kwai's blitzkrieg before it gains too much momentum. While Kwai opted for heavier armoured, more powerful tanks commandeered by higher trained crew, Tao developed more technologically advanced and faster tanks that run on miniaturised nuclear reactors. The contest between old school and new school weapons of war will culminate in the greatest tank battle of the 21st century. … Nuke only challenge rules: 1. Only units that utilise nuclear technology or nuclear weapons may be deployed: Battlemaster, Overlord, Helix, MiG, Nuke Cannon. 2. In accordance with the above rule, no infantry units may be deployed at all. 3. Nuclear silos may only be used to counter enemy superweapons. Any other enemy buildings or units caught in the blast radius is considered fair game.
