Loren Coves is a townhome development consisting of asymmetric twinhomes (duplex) long the perimeter facing streets that can be fronted, then internally setting the 4-plex units in non-gridded pods behind the twinhomes. This method eliminated most of the need for screening walls and significantly reduced the length of private lanes that would have been required. This allowed funds to be applied to better landscaping and architecture instead of screening and pavement. This created a more functional, beautiful, efficient, and marketable neighborhood. Loren Coves was designed using Land Mentor software with the methods taught in Land Mentor as well as introduced in the book Prefurbia.
