I purchased the majority of these products on Amazon for a good price. Since buying them, the prices have increased to a point where I don’t recommend buying these Jump Start products on Amazon. I review alternative methods to start seedings, such as using a diy, homemade lighting solution using shop lights. I setup the Hydrofarm JSV4 T5 lighting system but notice some issues. I also review the MT10009 Seedling heat Mat 107w, 48 X 20-Inch. It’s a good product but an oven if you don’t have a thermostat to monitor the temperature. I use the MTPRTC Digital ETL-certified Heat Mat Thermostat which is a good quality product. I add water to the Jiffy peat pellets and plant Non-GMO Heirloom Culinary Herbs and Vegetable seeds from Open Seed Vault (sold by HeirloomSeedVault). After 1 week I show the progress of my plants and share my lessons learned.
