Kumbalangi, kochi in kerala is a quiet, leafy island village known for rural tourism activities. People visit the island to see Chinese fishing nets, explore its mangrove forests, and experience traditional Keralan village life. Boat trips from Kallenchery cruise along the surrounding backwaters. Local artisans and boatmen offer craft demonstrations and fishing trips, while simple, no-frills eateries serve seafood and local meals. Kumbalangi is in Kochi and it is a full of wonders for a tourist to experience in their lifetime. Kumbalangi is an island village in the outskirts of Kochi city in the state of Kerala, India. Situated amidst backwaters, around 12 km (7.5 mi) from the city center, Kumbalangi is a major tourist attraction and is famous for its Chinese fishing nets. We started our ride from Thoppumpady via Palluruthy and Perumpadappu to arrive in Kumbalangi. It was an awesome experience for us to have a ride in all areas of Kumbalangi and then moved to Kandakkadavu areas such as resort and beach. We also had food from a toddy shop in Ezhupunna in Kochi to experience the different taste of hot and spicy foods. Eventually we went to Kalancherry area to experience the boating through Vembanad Backwaters but unfortunately due to low water level in the lake we could do boating at that moment. Moreover, there is Haco Lake view resort in Kalancherry and it was locked to prohibit the entry of any tourist as a Covid precaution and restrictions as per the Government guidelines.
