Germany is known for having the best Christmas markets in the world… so we decided to put that reputation to the test. After exploring Cologne and Brussels, we headed into Munich and visited five different markets in 24 hours. Each one very different from the others. This ended up being one of our longest and most chaotic Christmas market days yet, but also one of the most interesting. From the tiny pink LGBTQ+ market tucked into a quiet corner of the city… to the huge Tollwood Festival out on the Oktoberfest grounds, we saw so many sides of Christmas in Munich.
