Violence continues unabated in Majola

Residents of Majola in Port St John's say their dire circumstances have not changed since police intervention at their strife torn village. The violence has claimed a number of lives over the past few months and more than 50 homesteads torched. Women and children have fled into the surrounding forest to escape the attacks. An inter-denominational prayer service was held today, organised by the police, as part of the plan to bring peace to the village.
