SESSION DRUMMER IN THE STUDIO - POP COUNTRY Hey guys! I decided to start playing on records I've already finished and try to recreate parts best I can recall. Not perfect but you can get the idea! In this video, I can see I'm trying to remember what I originally played but....after a few passes, most of it was there. This is Take 1. My philosophy is that I don't play drums...I play songs...on drums. I may be the least "drummie" drummer you know haha!!! Seriously though, I get hired to support the song, not my ego. This is why I have decided, and intend to upload more of me playing with music. Inside that context, what I play [or don't play] has more context. I also added a few flurry type things not on the original...and truth be told..better for it haha! Hope there is something somebody can get from my channel.
