We are back for Part 3 of Carpathian Turmoil in Call to Arms: Gates of Hell and things are getting weird. This mission is a total doozy. It baits you into thinking you just need to outlast a timer but the reality is much more brutal: you have to go scorched earth on every square inch of the map. After getting snowplowed on Hardcore mode more times than I care to admit I finally tracked down those elusive ammo trucks. But just when I thought I had the upper hand the AI decided to start driving tanks completely out of bounds to avoid my minefields. Apparently the game engine doesn't respect physics when it's losing! Despite the AI’s questionable tactics I managed to lock down a defense where the anti-personnel mines actually did their job for once.
