Book Club session 1 - The Mission of God (chapters 1-3)

In this first ever DiscipleDojo Book Club gathering, we are reading Christopher Wright's 2nd edition of "The Mission of God" together and then coming together to discuss what we've read every 2 weeks! In this first session JM gives an walking tour through the first 3 chapters of the book, laying out what Chris is trying to do and how he's attempting to do so. Once we see the big picture of where we are going on this journey, the more enjoyable a journey it becomes! After that, we split into breakout rooms of 5-6 people for 30 mins of specific discussion around two passages from the book and the questions JM raised about them. (We got feedback from many members that this was their favorite part of the evening--but alas, those discussions are not recorded (the perks of registering and doing the book club live!). Note: JM accidentally hit "record" while it was in "gallery" view on Zoom. So that is the video we got! But next week we will make sure to record in "speaker" view so that you can actually see JM's pages when he opens his book and points something out!
