Our first day in Iceland was nothing short of magical. After landing in Keflavik, our senses were immediately awakened by the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked goods at Braud & Co 🥐🍞, where we indulged in delectable pastries and breads that melted in our mouths. But the highlight of our day awaited us at the epic Sky Lagoon 🌊, a tranquil oasis amidst Iceland's rugged landscapes. Here, we immersed ourselves in the rejuvenating waters and experienced the sacred seven-step ritual, a blissful journey of relaxation and renewal. From there, our adventure led us to the heart of Reykjavik, where we marveled at the iconic sights of the city center 🏙️. We couldn't resist stopping at the famous hotdog stand to savor the flavors of Icelandic street food 🌭 before checking into our hotel for a well-deserved rest. After a rejuvenating nap, we set out to explore further, visiting the majestic Hallgrimskirka ⛪ and wandering through the charming streets of Reykjavik 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️. Along the way, we stumbled upon a delightful surprise - rye bread ice cream 🍦, a unique Icelandic delicacy that tantalized our taste buds. Our culinary journey continued at the Public House 🍽️, where we indulged in a hearty meal inspired by local flavors, savoring every bite as we reflected on the unforgettable experiences of our first day in Iceland.
