ICRS 2025 World Congress | Boston, MA Mini Battle Debate Topic: "The Need for Adjunctive Treatments – Is More, Less?" At the 2025 ICRS World Congress, Kevin R. Stone, MD (Stone Research Foundation) and Deepak Goyal, M.S. ORTHO, D.N.B. ORTHO (Secretary General of ICRS; founder, Indian Cartilage Society) engaged in a collegial debate on the role of adjunctive treatments in cartilage repair. The session examined whether combining surgery with biologic therapies—such as hyaluronic acid (HA), platelet-rich plasma (PRP), and growth factors—can enhance surgical outcomes. Dr. Stone presented clinical data from the Stone Research Foundation showing that treating the entire joint environment, not just the lesion, can extend pain relief for up to 12 months by providing: • Biological and biomechanical support, • Lubrication • Immunomodulation • Inflammation reduction • Possible regeneration 🏆 Dr. Stone won the debate by demonstrating that an integrative approach helps patients reduce pain, increase activity, and improve their quality of life. 🎥 Watch this data-driven debate to find out how evolving therapies can be used to enhance patient care. 🔗 Learn more: www.stoneresearch.org Abstract from ICRS Conference Available Here: https://cattendee.abstractsonline.com...
