Lusby Villas Informational Meeting - Calvert County, MD - Jul. 9, 2024

The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners announces there will be an informational meeting to receive input from the public regarding plans for Lusby Villas on July 9, 2024. The meeting will be held at the Southern Community Center located at 20 Appeal Lane in Lusby, at 7 p.m. On May 15, 2024, the Planning Commission approved the preliminary subdivision plan for Lusby Villas. The Lusby Villas project proposes 276 apartment units with access to Lusby Parkway. The site plan is currently under review through the county’s development review process, which involves steps to ensure proposed projects comply with local regulations and meet community standards. The conceptual site plan for Lusby Villas initially received approval from the Planning Commission on March 17, 2021. Participants may sign up to speak at the meeting. Individual speakers are allotted two minutes to speak, and groups are allotted five minutes to speak. Public questions may also be submitted via email to [email protected].
