#tanks #trucks #marines #acv #stryker The Amphibious Combat Vehicle gives the US Marine Corps a versatile onshore assault capability. The ACV can carry up to 13 marines and deploys off a variety of US Navy vessels. Here we see Marines practice the launch and recovery of the ACV in a variety of modes. In part one, we see Charlie Company, Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, conduct amphibious operations aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47) in the Coral Sea, June 24, 2025 Then in part two we see vehicles land on-shore, and deploy their complement of Marines. Later we see a live fire practice exercise, followed by a detailed look at how the ACV swims in shallow waters. Footage of the vehicle traveling along beaches and across country. Finally, we hear from an admiral give a testimonial about his forces and their exercises using the Amphibious Combat Vehicle under real world conditions, as well as the close coordination between the US Marine Corps and the US Navy. The ACV is in some ways an analog to the Army's Stryker Combat Vehicle, but as you'll see it is very different in other respects. Special thanks to Mr Hewes and Cappy Army for inspiration.
