This route one way is 2.166 miles. The video is just over 20 minutes long. I have cut session out of the ramble because even I found bit a bit boring. Oh, I use a mobility scooter to do my rambles because I have MS and have problems walking among other problems. I almost always have my dog with me. My current dog is called Jasper he`s a cross collie/greyhound, we got him from the Edinburgh Dog and Cat home about 3 or 4 years ago. He is in some of my videos but there has been Max as well, even when he was having problems walking to far he would also get on my scooter so he could still go with me until his back legs just got to bad even for his pain killers/anti-inflammatory drugs to help him and we had to put him to sleep. You can see him in some of my older videos. This right-of-way has been here for a very long time. it was there when my dad was a boy and he in his 80`s now. When I was young I used to use it to visit my auntie and cousins in Dundonald and it was not in a very good state then and it did not get any better until this year when Fife Council manage to get funding to upgrade path which they call `core paths`. The path was done in two stages and they made quite a good job of it, but it will probably never maintained and will get overgrown again but that I hope will be in quite a few years to come. So far I have never came back this route, normally head back to Lochgelly via the Lochgelly Loch or I might go through The Den then back via The Lochgelly Loch. The Den is a beautiful walk at any time of year, each season has its own beauty.
