So I decided to swap the M1 for the T-64B to see how much does the Kobra ATGM help here. Opposing vehicles are the M60A3 TTS and Bradley IFV. As expected, it actually does help out a lot against the gunships. One tip for using the Kobra: don't use it with the FCS on automatic mode. It doesn't need the lead calculation from the on-board 1A33 FCS since it is a guided missile. Just set range to 0 meters so that the missile is fired straight at the target then fire the missile. Generally, I find it easier to hit targets when the missile is fired straight at the enemy and doesn't do the whole weird arcing thing because the missile is given more time to correct itself whenever it over-compensates in its attempt to follow where you're aiming at. That being said though, the T-64B needs to be played much more carefully than the M1. Most obvious drawback: it has a much slower reverse speed, so if it gets into trouble it takes a long time to back out. It has quite a bit less protection than the M1. It is vulnerable to the Bradley's I-TOW missile. And finally, its front hull can be penetrated at pretty long ranges by M774, which is what the M60A3s are firing here.
