Hi and welcome back to my first video as I'm setting into traveling solo in my 30s in Europe this fall. We're starting in Sicily -- Catania and Palermo -- visiting my friend in Catania (think mom's cooking, a night out with friends, and a beach club) and then doing some more planned touristy things (food tour, cooking class) around Palermo. I also decided last minute to go to Teatro Massimo to see an opera. If any of this sounds interesting to you, I invite you to join me! If you're new here -- I just left my corporate job this summer and moved out of my rental apartment in Chicago where I had been living and working for about the last 10 years so I could take this break to reset and travel for a bit.
