Bisection Method a. Select a straight and level course and on both ends designate these as A and B. b. Establish a point in the center of the line. Designate it as point C. c. Mark two points of the same length on both side of C along the line AB. d. Scribe arcs centered at both two points with the same radius. e. Designate the point where the two arcs meet D. Draw CD. f. CD is the line through C perpendicular to AB. 2. 3-4-5 Method a. Select a straight and level course and establish a reference line for the 345 triangle. b. Along the reference line, measure a 3 meter distance and on both ends designate these as points A and B. c. As for the other side of the triangle, stretch the tape to 4 meters along with the plastic twine. It must intersect the reference line at point B forming a perpendicular line, somehow. Designate the other end as point C. d. Line BC must be adjustable since there is still no guarantee that it is 90 degrees to the reference line. e. To check, the hypotenuse must be a 5 meter long. If not, adjust point C. f. Perimeter must be 12 meters.
