Initially, the copper tubes on the faucet body looked straight, but when the owner unscrewed the retaining nut, the tubes got twisted and cracked, which led to cracks in the soldering points and a leak. Behind the wall, the copper pipes transition into old steel ones. Threaded connectors are not suitable here, as the pipes cannot be moved to the sides. We tested the fit of copper sleeves, and this turned out to be a reliable solution. Work performed: Removed the crooked valve and installed temporary plugs. Replaced the valve, decorative cover and bath spout. Turned on the water safely, preserving the integrity of all pipes and connections. This method allows you to replace the shower faucet quickly, safely and without damaging the tiles.
