An assembly line for 1,400 different products: Thanks to the i4.0 assembly line from Bosch Rexroth, the SFB Group is able to manufacture its range of hydraulic valves up to 20 percent more productively. A digital assistance system guides workers through the assembly process, reduces errors and increases productivity. The SFB Group, from the Swabian town of Babenhausen, manufactures over 1,400 diff erent types of fl ush and feed valves. They can theoretically produce around 65,000 combinations using just 300 individual components. Since mid-2018, SFB has been tackling this wide range of combinations with a fully connected and highly fl exible multi-product line from Bosch Rexroth. The result?
