If you love snapper fishing in Florida, this is one Dry Tortugas fishing trip you do not want to miss. We teamed up with Viktor from Landshark Outdoors for a 48 hour offshore mission targeting big snapper fish, massive groupers, and whatever else we could hook. We left the dock at 9 AM and made the long run west toward the Dry Tortugas. Our goal for the trip was to target some big snapper fish and bottom species the Florida Keys have to offer. What happened on our trip exceeded every expectation. Over the course of two full days of Dry Tortugas fishing, we caught everything from yellowtail snapper, mutton snapper, red snapper, cubera snapper, to black grouper, red grouper, and even a giant wahoo. The action didn’t stop when the sun went down. We fished under the stars and the highlight of the trip came when we landed a monster 70+ pound Cubera Snapper, one of the biggest we’ve ever seen. The fight was insane and the kind of moment you never forget. This trip had it all!
