In this video, Red Tow responds to a dangerous B-Double coupling failure that nearly caused a major roll-over. The incident occurred when the B-trailer twisted off alignment, lifting several tyres clear of the ground. The A-trailer was jammed underneath, blocking access and making the entire combination unstable. To make matters worse, the inexperienced driver–owner and a young mechanic attempted to fix the problem themselves — unknowingly increasing the risk of collapse. By the time Red Tow arrived, the situation was critical: the combination was leaning, the suspension was distorted, and nearby parked cars limited manoeuvring space. Our Mack Titan heavy recovery truck was deployed to take control. Using the underlift and winches, we carefully stabilised the B-trailer, lifted and separated it from the A-trailer, and repositioned the prime mover for a safe re-coupling. Through controlled lifting, weight balancing, and precision communication, we restored the entire setup without damage or loss.
