Improve user experience through simplified navigation pivot grid tiles and fluid dashboards

Driven to explore and utilize more delivered functionality and improve processes, BJC took our production support team’s PeopleSoft experience to the next level. Our production support team navigates to dozens of PeopleSoft pages and processes dozens of hires, transfers, and additional jobs on a daily basis. The pages used are located under various menus and the delivered manage hires page provides limited information. We created a “manage hires” query with the details we needed and used it as a source for a Pivot Grid with stats and a link for processing the hire. We also identified the most frequently used pages and created a fluid navigation collection tile. We tied it all together through a new dashboard accessible to the production support team. This change centralized their navigation and provided more detailed information to filter manage hires and easily identify potential data integrity issues.
