Where is home? What does home mean to you? Why are the stories of belonging so important? All these questions are driving forces befind the project "HOME. Between a shelter and a cage“ designed and curated by my precious guest, Yoav Goldwein. Yoav travels the world to take photographs and collect peoples’ stories on home and feeling home at five different levels - in the physical space, in their own body, in a group, among people close to their heart and at the metalevel. All these stories and photographs are part of the exhibition that is on display in different parts of the globe. In our turbulent times, when 100.000.000 refugees are on the quest for a new home, billions of migrants populate different corners of the world and numerous digital nomads are on the road, these questions are more relevant than ever.
