E39 M5 DIY How To Guide - Custom Braided Clutch Hydraulic Hose - Covid 19 Special

Welcome along to another Covid-19 Lockdown special! Today we'll be replacing the old clutch hydaulic system with a stainless steel braided hose. This is often overlooked and forgotten about. The process is the same on all E39's so if you don't have an M5 and want to do this, it's very easy. The only difference on other E39's is the clutch hose as a CDV (Clutch Delay Valve) which restricts the return flow of fluid from the slave cylinder when releasing the clutch. This isn't fitted on the M5, and is a great upgrade to remove it from normal E39's too. It's an easy job, a bit time consuming and fiddley, but straight forward and easy to do.
