River flows high in Weber County, officials warning about flood dangers

While major flooding isn’t currently being seen, officials say river flows in Weber County are running high for this time of year. Along the Weber River, flows are currently sitting several feet above where they were last year at this time. Weber County’s Emergency Management Director Lisa Schwartz Gosline says there’s no active flooding in the county right now. However, individual property owners may be experiencing nuisance flooding because of snow and high ground water.
