Saturday the 22nd July, running the Monsal Trail parkrun 5k 185th parkrun and 1st at Monsal Trail First time at Monsal parkrun, its a simple out and back down the old rail line, towards Bakewell and back. Bit of a congested start, but managed to clear them before long and as usual, probably went out too hard trying to make up lost time and then going under one of the bridges, I slightly rolled my bad ankle again, but that did take extra effort to keep the pace going and it dropped off in the final mile, struggling to keep it going, had to take a moment to focus and push on to the finish Official finishing time of 20:45 22nd placed finisher out of 281 and 4th in the 40-44 age group My PB at remains 19:28 at Clumber Park parkrun (   • Clumber Park, parkrun 21/09/19 2nd finishe...  ) My fastest time this year 19:41 (   • Clumber Park, parkrun number #165 on 4/03/23  ) Full results https://www.parkrun.org.uk/monsaltrai...
